DMCA & Copyright Takedown Notice
ZentelTV respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how rights holders can submit a takedown notice and how we handle reports of alleged infringement.
1. Our position on copyright
ZentelTV operates as a technical intermediary, providing reseller-grade IPTV streaming infrastructure to subscribers in the United Kingdom. We do not own, produce or originate the broadcasts and on-demand content delivered through the service โ that content is supplied by third-party upstream providers and broadcasters. Where a copyright holder believes their work is being made available without authorisation, we want to know, and we will act on every valid notice.
2. How to send a takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner, or an authorised representative of one, and you believe that material accessible through our service infringes your rights, please send a written notice to our designated agent. We comply with the principles of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 / E-Commerce Regulations 2002 notice-and-takedown framework.
To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your full legal name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (a single work, or a representative list if multiple).
- A specific description of the infringing material (e.g. channel name, EPG ID, VOD title, server line) sufficient for us to locate it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Designated agent for takedown notices
Send your notice to:
ZentelTV โ Copyright Agent
64-73 Minories
London EC3N 1JL
United Kingdom
Email: [email protected] (subject line: "Copyright Takedown Notice")
Email is the fastest channel and we strongly recommend it. We typically acknowledge receipt within one business day and act on valid notices within 48 hours.
4. What happens after we receive a valid notice
- We promptly review the notice for completeness and good-faith basis.
- Where the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material from our infrastructure.
- We notify the relevant upstream provider so the issue is addressed at source.
- We keep a record of the notice and our action for audit purposes.
5. Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address above. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, email address and physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, if outside the UK, the courts of any judicial district in which we may be found).
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant. The material may be reinstated unless we receive notice of legal action within 10 business days.
6. Repeat infringer policy
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the subscriptions of customers who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to terminate the access of any subscriber whose conduct, in our reasonable judgement, infringes the rights of others or breaches our Terms of Service.
7. False or abusive notices
Submitting a knowingly false takedown notice may give rise to liability for damages under applicable law. Please ensure you are the rights holder or an authorised representative before sending a notice.
